Amananoble is a small business in Adirampattinam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India, selling Islamic learning cards for children. We take orders and answer questions on WhatsApp. This page says plainly what we keep about you, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.
What we keep
- Your WhatsApp number and the name on your WhatsApp profile, because that is how you reach us and how we reply.
- The messages you send us and the ones we send you, including any photos (for example a payment screenshot or a photo of a damaged parcel), so we can see what was agreed and sort out any problem later.
- Your delivery details when you order: the recipient's name, phone number, address and pincode, and what you ordered, so the parcel can be sent and tracked.
- Payment confirmation: the amount, the date and the method (GPay, PhonePe or cash on delivery). We never see or keep your bank, card or UPI PIN details; the payment app handles those.
- The courier's tracking number and the scans the courier reports for your parcel.
We do not collect anything from this website itself: there are no accounts, no forms, no cookies set by us and no analytics. The "Order on WhatsApp" buttons simply open WhatsApp on your device.
How it reaches us
Messages to our business number pass through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which delivers them to our order system and carries our replies back. Meta's handling of WhatsApp messages is described in the WhatsApp Business terms and WhatsApp privacy policy. We may also use a WhatsApp business-messaging tool to answer messages and send you order updates.
What we use it for
- Answering your questions and confirming your order and its price.
- Packing and sending your parcel, and telling the courier where it goes.
- Sending you order updates on WhatsApp: that the parcel has been sent, its tracking number, when it is out for delivery, and when it is delivered.
- Replacing a damaged or incomplete set, and resolving any dispute.
- Keeping the records Indian tax law requires of a sale.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for advertising. We share the recipient's name, address, phone number and the parcel's contents count with the courier company that delivers it, and the tracking number with the tracking service that watches the parcel for us; nothing more.
Messages from us
We message you on WhatsApp only about your own order or in reply to what you asked. If you would rather not receive order updates on WhatsApp, say so in the chat and we will stop; you will still get your parcel.
How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: as long as Indian tax law requires, currently eight years from the end of the financial year of the sale.
- WhatsApp conversations and photos: for as long as you are a customer, so we can look up past orders, unless you ask us to delete them.
- Delivery addresses: with the order record, so a repeat order is quicker; deleted on request.
Seeing or deleting your data
To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, send a WhatsApp message to +91 90422 85509 or an email to amananoble1@gmail.com from the number or address we know you by, saying "delete my data".
We confirm within 7 days. Your conversations, name and addresses are deleted from our system; the bare record of a completed sale (date, items, amount) is kept only where tax law requires it, with your name and address removed.
Keeping it safe
Our order system is reachable only over an encrypted connection, only by our own staff with a login, and messages and addresses are stored on servers in a data centre under contract to us. Access keys to WhatsApp are kept encrypted. Only the people who pack and send orders and answer messages can see your details.
Children
Our cards are made for children, but our customers are their parents and teachers. We do not knowingly take orders from or keep details about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has messaged us with personal details, tell us and we will delete them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to the same place as everything else:
